Center Employment  
The Center Employment Department of the Medina County Board of Mental 
Retardation & Developmental Disabilities, located at the Medina County 
Achievement Center, operates a workshop facility where adults with disabilities 
receive vocational training. Individuals are  also offered the opportunity to 
participate in various social activities. Other services provided by our Center 
Employment Department include our Adult Day programming for medically fragile 
individuals and our Seniors’ Program designed to meet the vocational and social 
needs or our aging population.

Community Services Department  
The Community Services Department, located at 2413 Medina Rd, encourages 
independence and freedom for individuals who choose to work outside the workshop 
facility. Employment specialists make every effort to find just the right jobs 
for capable individuals who desire employment in the community. Job coaches 
provide continuing guidance and support. The Community Services Department also 
introduces recreational, cultural and volunteer experiences for those wanting 
community involvement and interaction.
